We’re 4 years old today~

i’ve started writing this about a thousand times, trying to choose words that aren’t too sappy or too silly in order to honor you guys on this extremely special day. but it’s hard. how do you explain in a small amount of space, or with a certain amount of pictures and colors, how important someone is to you and to so many people? i’m sure that you five are aware, of just how much you have changed the lives of many. but i very much hope you never forget. because it is incredible how much people you’ve never met can alter things, or at least just make your life at little bit better. you are all such amazingly beautiful people, all so unique with your different personalities, and yes you all drive me to want to tear my hair out or laugh until i’m crying a lot of the time, but that simply makes you even more charming. 4 years is a long time, and it has been a very wonderful and successful time for all of you and i’m so proud of you for that, i’m so proud of your achievements. i hope you all know that you must continue to be awesome for as many more years as possible, i won’t tolerate anything less. thank you. thank you for being a part of my life. thank you guys for being the incredible individuals, as well as the wonderful group that you are. and thank you for making mine, and so many other people’s lives just a little bit brighter. and finally i repeat from my post from last year: i will stare at you starry-eyed until the cows come home, you wonderful jerks.

Yep, there it is, SHINee’s 4th anniversary. It doesn’t matter if you’re a fan since debut or later, I think we can all see the changes and the progress they’ve made, be it as a group or individually, as people. It all started as an awkward rookie group of young boys, but with the time each of them got their own images that make SHINee so special as a whole.

I think the most frequent question fans from any fandom hear, is; “why would you spend so much time on people that don’t even know you exist?”. Well, as for me, the answer is simple. Sometimes, we just need something to get us through the day. We all feel like we’re having a rough time at some point of our lives, and we all need something that makes us smile so we can shake it off. And that’s what SHINee is for me, the relief at the end of the day.

So, thank you SHINee for another amazing year, another year of music, laughter, progress and positivity. And the best is yet to come. Even if one day I’ll move on, I surely won’t have any regrets, and take every minute with me. Thank you.
